Creationist “Museums” Are Not Museums

There’s lots of discussion right now about the recent debate between Bill Nye “The Science Guy” and Ken Ham, founder of the Creation Museum in Kentucky.   In an article I wrote for Exhibitionist museum journal (Spring, 2011, Vol.30.1) I examined the idea that a “museum” that misrepresents human knowledge cannot actually claim to be a museum.  What do you think?

  1. Hi, I would like to see a copy of your article, but the page link takes me to an expired link. I’m currently writing a biography about a creationist museum *because I’m a rebel like that* for my Museum Studies class. I would love to be able to use some information from your article. Is it possible that you have a digital copy of it? Or know how I can get a copy of it?
